S\u00e3o ocasi\u00f5es singulares de sociabilidade, nas quais se articulam pr\u00e1ticas complexas, como a organiza\u00e7\u00e3o coletiva, a distribui\u00e7\u00e3o de pap\u00e9is, a prepara\u00e7\u00e3o e partilha de alimentos, o uso de objetos simb\u00f3licos, a ornamenta\u00e7\u00e3o dos espa\u00e7os, os c\u00e2nticos, rezas, dan\u00e7as e rituais. Essas pr\u00e1ticas produzem sentidos espec\u00edficos de lugar e territ\u00f3rio, transformando espa\u00e7os cotidianos em territ\u00f3rios simb\u00f3licos e vividos.<br><br>Campos (2014), ao falar dessas celebra\u00e7\u00f5es em nossa regi\u00e3o, aponta a relev\u00e2ncia das \u201cfestas de santo\u201d, que integram, de forma central, a religiosidade popular e o sistema cultural das comunidades, pois mobilizam e aglutinam coletivamente os sujeitos em torno da f\u00e9, da conviv\u00eancia e da identidade compartilhada. Em contextos historicamente marcados pelo insulamento, como ocorre em Ros\u00e1rio Oeste e na Baixada Cuiabana, preservaram-se formas de devo\u00e7\u00e3o de matriz medieval, expressas em rituais, encena\u00e7\u00f5es, cavalhadas e pr\u00e1ticas espec\u00edficas.. Essas celebra\u00e7\u00f5es, al\u00e9m de marcarem o calend\u00e1rio religioso e os ciclos da natureza, atualizam a unidade do grupo e refor\u00e7am v\u00ednculos culturais, coexistindo de maneira complementar com outras pr\u00e1ticas do cotidiano, como as das benzedeiras, curandeiros e rezadeiras. Assim, as festas de santo n\u00e3o apenas celebram a devo\u00e7\u00e3o, mas reafirmam a identidade coletiva e a continuidade cultural das comunidades que as realizam.<br><br>Em Ros\u00e1rio Oeste, as chamadas \u201cfestas de santo\u201d, vinculadas ao catolicismo popular, exemplificam essa categoria ao ultrapassarem o campo estritamente religioso e se afirmarem como express\u00f5es do patrim\u00f4nio cultural imaterial. Realizadas nos cantos da cidade, do campo e dos lares promesseiros, essas celebra\u00e7\u00f5es articulam f\u00e9, trabalho, cuidado, mem\u00f3ria e conviv\u00eancia, mobilizando redes de solidariedade e reafirmando v\u00ednculos identit\u00e1rios com o territ\u00f3rio.
